American Traveler is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Occupational Therapist for a travel job in Mound City, Missouri.Job Description & Requirements * Specialty: Occupational Therapist * Discipline: Therapy * Start Date: ASAP * Duration: 13 weeks * 40 hours per week * Shift: 8 hours, days * Employment Type: TravelAssignment Overview * Shift: Days, 5x8hrs * Hours: 40 hrs/wk * Start Date: Aug 3, 2026 * Length: 13 weeks * Openings: 1DescriptionAmerican Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with LTC or SNF experience for a 13-week contract in a Long Term Care setting in Mound City, MO.Details * Long Term Care (LTC) setting * Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts with no weekend or on-call requirements * Flexible start time between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM, as long as consistent and communicated with the Director of Rehabilitation * 35 hours per weekRequirements * Active Missouri OT license required; compact license accepted - license required if applicable * Minimum 1 year of OT experience required * Experience in an LTC or SNF setting required * 1 professional reference required for considerationAdditional Information * Screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders and develop individualized plans of care * Administer rehabilitation procedures including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive and assistive devices * Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to guide clinical interventions * Monitor and document patient progress, treatment minutes, and discharge summaries in the electronic documentation system * Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers * Participate in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation meetings * Supervise and support OT assistants, rehabilitation aides, and/or students as needed * Adhere to NBCOT/AOTA standards and state practice acts throughout professional practice * No more than 7 days of RTO may be requestedAmerican Traveler Job ID #P-730176.
