The Salisbury VA Health Care Center is hiring a full-time Advanced Practice Nurse (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) to join our team at the Kernersville Health Care Center.

CRNA Responsibilities:

Provides comprehensive anesthesia care to inpatient and outpatient patients of all acuity levels, including preoperative evaluation, anesthesia administration and monitoring, post-anesthesia care, and emergency response. Develops individualized anesthesia plans, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, prescribes appropriate medications and orders, and promotes patient safety and quality outcomes. Supports staff education, trainee preceptorship, research, and evidence-based anesthesia practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

At least two years of successful experience practicing as a Nurse Anesthetist.

Five or more years of clinical experience, preferably in anesthesiology or surgical services.

Strong collaboration, communication, organization, and time-management skills.

Proficiency with computer systems used to support patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary $186,752-$270,725

Competitive Pay: Competitive salary, regular salary increases, and potential performance awards.

Paid Time Off: Approximately 50 days annually, including 26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, and 11 paid federal holidays.
