We are seeking a skilled Sterile Processing Tech (SPT) to join our dynamic surgical services team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper decontamination, cleaning, and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment to maintain high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform decontamination of surgical instruments and equipment following established protocols.
• Inspect, assemble, and package surgical instruments for sterilization.
• Operate sterilization equipment and verify that instruments are sterilized correctly.
• Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and equipment maintenance.
• Follow safety protocols and infection control guidelines to ensure a clean and safe environment.
• Participate in inventory management and organization of sterile supplies.
• Assist in training and orientation of new staff members as needed.

Work Schedule

This position offers a day shift with 5x8-hour rotations from 07:00 to 15:00 or night shifts from 23:00 to 07:00. The schedule includes rotating weekends, with on-call duties as required.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician preferred.
• Experience in a surgical or hospital setting is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to infection control.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
