The Assistant Manager will assist the General Manager with efficient and profitable operations. This position will provide leadership to assigned functions and events.
Responsibilities:
- Hire, train, supervise and schedule staff
- Monitor processes to ensure quality operations and customer satisfaction
- Monitor and maintain sanitation and safety standards
- Assist with inventory control procedures and operations
Required Qualifications:
- Educational Requirements: High School diploma Required
- Experience: Three (3) or more years of related experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Preferred Educational Qualifications: Associate's Degree or equivalent vocational/technical training
- Preferred Experience: Two (2) or more years of related work experience
Proposed Salary: $20.71 per hour. This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
ABILITIES: Consistently exhibit engaging customer service. Ability to support various constituencies served by the University. Proven proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office, Google, and/or applications as required for specific position. Ability to operate commercial food equipment.
KNOWLEDGE: Adhere to University policies and procedures to meet Institutional goals and support University's mission for student success. Working knowledge of food preparation and serving techniques.
SKILLS: Effective communication (verbal and written), organizational and human relations skills
