Additional Information About the Role BJC HealthCare System is hiring a Full-Time Breast Sonographer (RDMS) for Barnes Center for Advanced Med -CAM Breast Center ( St. Louis, MO ) $5,000 Sign on Bonus for eligible candidates!!! Position Details: * Day Shift hours: Mon-Fri * No Major holidays & possibly 2 Saturdays per year with extra pay if work * RDMS or equivalent required * Breast Sonography with x- ray (preferred ) * Mammography and breast ultrasound experience (highly preferred) Experience: If you have experience in one of the following areas, you could be a good fit: Breast Sonographer, Breast Ultrasound Technologist / Technician, Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (Breast Specialty) , Mammography / Ultrasound Technologist Next Steps: * If selected to move forward with Interview Process, a Talent Advisor will contact you via email for a screen Overview Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose The Registered Diagnostic Sonographer performs ultrasound imaging, including but not limited to abdominal, small parts, and obstetrical, to adult and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders, and assist with needle procedures (i.e., biopsies, drainages, needle placements, etc.). May also perform vascular imaging Responsibilities * Ensures proper function and readiness of all equipment. * Performs ultrasound imaging examinations and ensures proper documentation of procedures. * Performs studies independently, may perform studies on-call, portable exams, and at other sites as required by work area.
