A well-established health system in Central Indiana is seeking a BC/BE Gastroenterologist to join its growing Gastroenterology team. The incoming physician will join a collaborative group of four Gastroenterologists and two Nurse Practitioners and will have a blend of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.
The position offers a primarily outpatient practice with approximately 80% outpatient and 20% inpatient responsibilities, with access to both hospital-based and outpatient endoscopy facilities.
PRACTICE HIGHLIGHTS
Join an established team of 4 Gastroenterologists and 2 Nurse Practitioners
Approximately 80% outpatient / 20% inpatient practice
Procedures include colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, and EUS
Combination of procedures, office visits, and inpatient responsibilities
Hospital call is 7 consecutive days, Monday through Sunday, approximately every 6 weeks
Access to both hospital-based and outpatient surgery/endoscopy facilities
24/7 Hospitalist and Nocturnist coverage
24/7 Intensivist coverage
