A well-established health system in Central Indiana is seeking a BC/BE Gastroenterologist to join its GI Hospitalist team. The incoming physician will join an established Gastroenterology group consisting of four Gastroenterologists and two Nurse Practitioners.
This is a dedicated inpatient opportunity offering a 1 week on / 1 week off schedule and a broad range of inpatient GI consultative and procedural responsibilities.
PRACTICE HIGHLIGHTS
Dedicated GI Hospitalist position
1 week on / 1 week off schedule
Adult inpatient consult service
Join an established team of 4 Gastroenterologists and 2 Nurse Practitioners
Perform inpatient upper and lower endoscopy
Outpatient scope access available
Enteral access procedures
Management of GI emergencies including variceal and ulcer bleeds, food impactions, and volvulus
EUS and ERCP skills are helpful but not required
