Direct Support Professional

Kindly Direct Care is hiring a part-time Direct Support Professional for a one-to-one opportunity in Farmingdale, NJ.

This role is ideal for a college student, educator, human-services professional, caregiver, or someone looking for meaningful part-time work. We are seeking a candidate who enjoys helping another person build confidence, routines, social skills, community connections, and greater independence. The strongest candidate will be consistent, encouraging, active, and able to build trust over time. Consistency matters: although the hours may be limited, the individual and family rely on the DSP to keep the agreed schedule.

What you'll do:

• Support an adult with developmental disabilities at home and/or in the community.
• Provide community-based supports.
• Encourage independence, social connection, and progress toward personal goals.
• Assist with routines and activities based on the individual's needs.
• Maintain safety and follow individualized support instructions.
• Complete required documentation after services and communicate reliably with the Kindly team.

Qualifications:

• Able to consistently commit to the exact posted schedule.
• Reliable vehicle required.
• Dependable, respectful, patient, and comfortable working one-to-one.
• Driving on shift required.
• Able to complete required onboarding, background checks, and training.

Schedule: Tuesday and Thursday, 10 am- 3 pm. Pay: $17-$22. Location: Farmingdale, NJ.
