Job Description: We are seeking a high-energy, presentable, and professional Director of Pharmacy/Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to join our team. This role will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our pharmacy, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, and maintaining our URAC credentialing. Key Responsibilities: Verify prescriptions and accept verbal/electronic prescriptions (ERX). Enter prescriptions into the system using Micro Merchants, Prime RX software. Order medications and manage inventory. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and documentation. Apply for pharmacy licensing in additional states. Continue URAC credentialing, including writing processes and policies. Collaborate with our URAC consultant to maintain credentialing standards. Act as the face of the pharmacy, communicating effectively with hospitals, providers, and caregivers with sensitivity and professionalism. Lead efforts related to expanding market share and provider relationships.
