Applicants must honestly disclose their experience with hands-on personal care and any limitations that may affect their ability to safely perform assigned duties.

Experience working with challenging dementia clients is strongly preferred. Caregivers must never intimidate, ridicule, unnecessarily confront, or argue with clients. They must use professional, respectful approaches and follow approved care instructions.

Caregivers must use proper body mechanics and request assistance whenever a task cannot be completed safely.

Caregivers are expected to remain actively involved in their clients' daily lives rather than simply occupying a chair during the shift.

Caregivers must remain attentive and responsive to their clients. Personal cell phone use, earbuds, excessive personal television viewing, and other unnecessary distractions are not permitted while providing care.

Caregivers must promptly report significant concerns involving appetite, swallowing, choking, vomiting, or hydration.

Caregivers are expected to take initiative and complete assigned housekeeping responsibilities without repeated reminders. Client areas should remain clean, orderly, safe, and presentable throughout each shift.

Caregivers must not independently diagnose conditions, change medication instructions, provide medical advice, or perform tasks outside their authorized role.

Some assignments require approved client transportation or assistance with errands. Caregivers must satisfy all applicable licensing, insurance, and vehicle requirements.

Caregivers assigned to awake overnight shifts must remain fully awake, alert, attentive, and available throughout the entire scheduled shift.

All Helping Hearts USA LLC caregivers must report to scheduled shifts wearing the approved company uniform.

Dependability is essential in home care. Our clients and their families rely on consistent, professional caregivers who honor their commitments.

Caregivers are responsible for accurately documenting all care and services provided through the agency's approved electronic systems, including WellSky.
