Mercy Health Physicians-Youngstown is seeking exceptional Acute Care Advanced Practice Clinician for Full-time Nocturnist Hospitalist positions for its St. Joseph Warren Hospital.

Certification Required: Acute Care Advanced Practice Clinician

Experience Required: Preferred but not required.

Physician Requirements:

* Assist with code blue events, rapid response, and admissions.

* Current ACLS, BLS, PALS (required).

* Current unrestricted Ohio state medical license and DEA.

* 7 on 7 off, block scheduling.

* Open ICU with critical care coverage during the day. 16 beds.

The Opportunity

* Practice setting: 100% Inpatient

* Schedule: Night shifts 7pm - 7am

* Call expectations: none

* Clinical focus and patient population: All patients are over 18

* Anticipated patient volume / productivity expectations: 7-8 admissions plus floor calls. Not a productivity-based position.

* Team model and support: Collaborating Physicians

* Technology, facilities, and resources: EPIC EMR. MyChart for telehealth. EPIC ART for A/I charting.

* Teaching, research, or leadership opportunities: Opportunities for committee involvement within the system.

* The NP collaborates closely with a multi-disciplinary clinical team consisting of physician hospitalists and good network of specialists.

Qualifications

* Acute Care Advanced Practice Clinician and Board Certification

* Completion of an accredited training program in Nursing Practice and Master's Degree.

* Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Ohio.

* Eligible for medical staff appointment and clinical privileges at St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital, St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital, St. Joseph Warren Hospital.

* Required certifications, procedures, or training: ACLS, BLS, PALS (required).

* Experience requirement: Preferred but not required

* U.S. Citizen or Green Card
