Position Highlights * Lead infection prevention and workplace safety initiatives * Coordinate the hospital's Emergency Preparedness Program * Monitor compliance with CMS, CDC, OSHA, and accreditation standards * Conduct safety rounds, infection surveillance, and staff education * Collaborate with leadership and clinical departments to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement * Prepare for regulatory surveys, audits, and inspections Qualifications * Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare, Public Health, Safety, or a related field * Minimum of two years of experience in healthcare safety, infection prevention, quality, or risk management preferred * Critical Access Hospital or rural healthcare experience preferred * CIC, CHSP, CEPS, or similar certification preferred * Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare safety, infection prevention, quality, or risk management preferred. * Health and safety-related certification (e.g., CIC, CHSP, CEPS, or other relevant credential) preferred.
