Machine Operator - Weekend Night Shift

Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading manufacturing company in Audubon, MN. We work one-on-one with great candidates to help connect them with local employment opportunities. We are seeking candidates for Machine Operator roles on the weekend night shift. Compensation for these contract opportunities is $24.00 per hour. Interested? Read below for more information!

What Youll Do As The Machine Operator:

• Ensure a safe work environment for oneself and others
• Follow all safety rules and regulations
• Set automatic controls, observe gauges, and operate a gas or electric furnace used to harden temper, anneal heat treat metal parts
• Load parts into containers in accordance with load diagrams, close the furnace door, and insert parts into the furnace when the specified temperature is reached
• Remove parts from the furnace after the specified time, and air dry or cool parts in water, oil, brine, or other baths
• Read the production schedule to determine the processing sequence and furnace temperature requirements for objects to be heat-treated
• Read the work order to determine processing specifications
• Light gas burners and adjust the flow of gas and coolant water
• Operate packaging washer equipment where applicable

What You Need To Be A Machine Operator:

• High school diploma or GED
• 3+ months of heat treat experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to follow work instructions
• Good attendance
• Ability to safely operate a forklift
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations
