Manufacturing Manager

About the Role:

This is a full-time, permanent position requiring strong organizational skills. Overall responsibility for Manufacturing operations.

Reports to the General Manager and will work in coordination with Engineering, Purchasing, Production, and Test departments to provide efficient and timely delivery of product.

Essential Job Functions:

• Overall responsibility for all phases of manufacturing including on-time delivery, cost, and quality in the areas of:

Assembly

Test

Purchasing

Material Control

Shipping /Receiving

Facilities management and maintenance

• Ensure compliance with appropriate OSHA regulations, best practices, and company policies.

• Develop a plan for the success of the department and the development of its resources and personnel over time.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and administer a safety program in compliance with OSHA, best practices, and company policies

• Supervise / administer time keeping system, to ensure payroll and job costing accuracy.

• Generate and schedule all manufacturing activities, including work orders, purchasing, production, test, and shipping.

• Implement a plan for the success of the department and the development of its resources and personnel over time.

• Other duties as assigned

Education:

Associate degree or higher

Experience:

Minimum 5 years related electrical/electronic manufacturing/test experience. Proven leadership experience
