MGH Waltham - RN Oncology -ambulatory/outpatient oncology infusion required

Join our dedicated team at WCS Healthcare Partners as a Travel RN in the Oncology/Infusion Center, located in Newton, MA. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced nurses to work in a supportive environment just 8 miles west of Boston, offering free onsite parking.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a 27-chair oncology and medical infusion unit.
• Administer chemotherapy and other medical infusion regimens.
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and post-treatment care.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an ambulatory oncology infusion unit.
• Proficiency in peripheral IV insertion and management.
• Experience with solid and hematologic oncology as well as medical infusion regimens.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required.
