Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery @ UMass Memorial Medical Center - Memorial Campus

Join WCS Healthcare Partners as a dedicated Registered Nurse in the Labor and Delivery unit. Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit, including postpartum care.
• Administer medications and manage treatments according to established protocols.
• Assist with various procedures such as high-risk deliveries, C-sections, and vaginal deliveries.
• Monitor and interpret fetal heart rate patterns and respond appropriately to any abnormalities.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Participate in the orientation process, including passing required exams.

Requirements

• Massachusetts RN license (pending license acceptable with conditions).
• 3 years of experience strongly preferred; will consider 1-2 years with travel experience.
• Certifications: AWHONN Intermediate and above, ACLS, BLS, NRP.
• Experience with the Epic charting system.
• Proficiency in various clinical skills such as administration of blood products, epidural anesthesia, and use of fetal monitoring equipment.
• Ability to work 36 hours per week, including every other weekend and holidays.
• Compliance with required testing and module completion prior to start date.
