Your future role at a glance
Location: Winchester, Indiana (90 minutes from Indianapolis; 40 minutes from Dayton, Ohio)
Facility Name: Ascension St. Vincent Randolph
Schedule: Full-Time | Flexible practice hours (3 clinic days, 1 surgical block day, flexible shared call schedule)

How you'll make an impact in this role
Team: Join an established team of 2 physicians and 4 hospital-based PRN physicians
Call Structure: Flexible shared call schedule with requirement to reside or be within 30 minutes of the hospital while on call
Practice Setting: Mixed practice with outpatient clinic strategically connected to the Critical Access Hospital
Resources: Access to dedicated surgical block time, onsite ultrasound, NST testing, robust CRNA anesthesia coverage, 24/7 respiratory support, and dedicated MA/LPN triage staff
Drive comprehensive women's healthcare by delivering personalized obstetrical and gynecological surgical care tailored to local community needs
Enhance rural patient outcomes through collegial collaboration with local pediatrics, regional MFM consultants, and emergency aeromedical transport services
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration

25-bed Critical Access Hospital with a dedicated 4-bed labor unit and swing-bed services

Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
What additional preferences we're seeking
Active Neonatal Resuscitation Program Advanced (NRP) certification required.
Broad gynecological surgical competency with adaptability to high-autonomy Critical Access practice environments.
