What You'll Do
- Lead and oversee a team of three pediatric hospitalists providing inpatient pediatric care
- Manage newborn nursery care with NICU support from Pediatrix Neonatologists
- Participate in 24/7 on-call coverage using a round-and-go model from home
- Perform routine pediatric procedures, including circumcisions
- Provide expert consultations to the Emergency Department for pediatric patients
- Collaborate with Neonatologists and other specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical research
- Share best practices and exchange ideas within a large network of Pediatrix providers
What You Need
- Valid Ohio medical license and board certification in Pediatrics
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in pediatric hospital medicine
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment
- Strong communication and decision-making skills
