What You'll Do
- Perform sterilization and decontamination of surgical instruments and equipment
- Assemble, wrap, and document instrument sets according to protocol
- Reprocess scopes and probes, including high-level disinfection (HLD)
- Maintain accurate equipment documentation
- Handle specialty instrument reprocessing for areas such as ENT, ophthalmology, neuro, and robotics
- Follow proper procedures for various scopes including bronchoscopes, colonoscopes, and EUS scopes
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards
What You Need
- Valid CBSPD or HSPA certification (pending licensure accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sterilization, decontamination, and instrument reprocessing
- Strong knowledge of high-level disinfection processes and scope reprocessing
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
