Opportunity Details
Position Type:Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
Location: Ann Arbor and Brighton, Michigan
Specialty: Cardiology
Hospital Info: 560 beds, Level 1 Trauma Center
Team Size: Collaborative team of 30 Cardiologists and 15 APPs
Teaching Opportunities: Opportunities to support student shadowing experiences and provide mentorship for individuals pursuing Advanced Practice degrees
Call Requirements: No afternoon or overnight call responsibilities; rotating Saturday call coverage (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

Requirements
Cardiology experience required
2+ years of post-graduate direct cardiology experience strongly preferred
NP Candidates must be AGACNP or ACNP
Must be board certified prior to employment
Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
DEA license
BLS and ACLS certified/maintained
Duties & Responsibilities
A typical day may include:
Providing direct patient care
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Participating in teaching and mentoring
Documenting in Epic EMR
Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
Supporting community health efforts.
