PRN Travel Certified Nursing Assistant

Provide direct resident care as a PRN travel Certified Nursing Assistant in a long-term care facility near Logan, Kansas. This 13-week contract offers flexible, as-needed scheduling with pay up to $28 per hour. The role supports residents in a supportive rural setting and allows experience in both day and night shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct resident care under licensed nursing staff supervision
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Take and record vital signs as directed
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation
• Support residents during meals and assist with feeding when needed
• Observe residents for changes in condition and report concerns to nursing staff
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
• Follow resident care plans, infection-control procedures, and facility safety standards

Qualifications:

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Kansas or ability to obtain before starting
• Ability to successfully complete required background checks, health screenings, and facility onboarding
• Strong communication skills and a dependable, resident-focused approach
• Flexibility to work PRN day or night shifts based on facility needs

Preferred Skills:

• High school diploma or GED
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Previous CNA experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or senior care
