PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant

This PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant role offers a 13-week assignment near Beaumont, Texas, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits. Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with the rehabilitation team to develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to assist patients in regaining independence.
• Document patient progress and update treatment records accurately.
• Collaborate with OT, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Assist in setting up and maintaining therapy equipment and therapy spaces.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting or related field.
• Texas COTA License.
• BLS certification.
• CPR certification (First Aid or ANSI/AHA acceptable).
• Minimum 1 year of LTC experience.
• Prior experience in rehabilitation settings.
• Comfortable with flexible, as-needed scheduling and travel requirements.
• Ability to commute 45-60 minutes to facility.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
