Registered Dental Hygienist

Provide preventive dental care, including cleanings, scaling, root planing, polishing, and preventive treatments. Record patient histories and periodontal health, educate patients on oral hygiene and nutrition, and assist dentists with patient care. A hygiene degree or certificate, valid state license, and CPR/BLS certification are required.
