Registered Respiratory Therapist

As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you provide bedside respiratory care across acute and critical care settings. You assess patients, deliver oxygen therapy and other therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, and initiate, manage, and adjust invasive and noninvasive ventilation. You obtain and analyze blood gases, respond to respiratory emergencies, and follow protocols to optimize treatment. You document care in the electronic medical record, collaborate closely with the healthcare team, and maintain safety and regulatory standards.
