Qualifications and Experience:

• Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field required
• Valid, active SLPA licensure in Pennsylvania
• Prior experience working with school-aged children is highly desirable
• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with students, families, and educational staff
• Organized, adaptable, and able to follow treatment plans as outlined by supervising SLPs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
• Implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and document student progress
• Assist in preparing materials and activities for therapy sessions
• Maintain accurate records, data tracking, and daily notes for each student
• Collaborate with teachers and school personnel to support students' communication needs within the classroom setting
• Participate in meetings and training relevant to speech-language services
