Long-established New Jersey litigation firm looking to add a senior attorney to its commercial disputes practice. The team handles significant state and federal matters for businesses ranging from closely held companies to national corporations, with a track record that includes multi-million-dollar judgments, complex contract disputes and high-stakes commercial litigation.

• Serious Commercial Disputes: Experience across breach of contract, shareholder disputes, real estate litigation, IP claims and other complex business matters.
• Proven Courtroom Results: The team cites outcomes including a multi-million-dollar fraud judgment and successful defence of a publicly traded company in a significant employment-contract dispute.
• State & Federal Exposure: Regularly appear in New Jersey state courts and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.

The Role

• Run Matters Independently: Manage litigation from initial pleadings through discovery, motion practice, settlement and resolution.
• Complex Case Exposure: Handle significant commercial and broader civil disputes while collaborating with other senior litigators on larger matters.
• Client Responsibility: Take direct ownership of strategy, client communication and substantive work product.
• Hands-On Litigation: This is suited to an attorney who has genuinely run cases rather than worked in a narrow support capacity.

Key Details

• Up to $250K Base + Bonus
• 7+ years of litigation experience
• Strong New Jersey litigation background required
• Significant commercial or complex civil litigation experience preferred
• Ability to manage matters independently from suit through resolution
