Lift Operations Supervisor

Sugarloaf is looking for friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented team players to join our Lift Operations crew this winter as Lift Operations Supervisors. A Lift Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily work of our Lift Operators and Operators in Charge as well as assisting department management with various other on-hill and office responsibilities. The right candidate for this job will be safety conscious and will also be willing and able to be a creative problem solver on-hill as well as behind the scenes.

This full-time seasonal role comes with great job perks and access to resort activities. Starting wage is expected to be $20-23 per hour depending upon previous ski resort and team leader experience. Responsibilities:

• Confirms lift status for the day
• Manages staff arrival
• Transports staff and equipment as needed
• Assists with morning set-up and line checks throughout the day
• Performs on the job training and lift inspections
• Responsible for employee conflict resolution
• Assists other mountain departments as needed to provide quality product and service

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a lift operator is essential, showcasing your dedication to mastering operational challenges in a mountain environment.
• Must be able to ski or ride, operate a snowmobile, and possess a valid driver's license
