High-end residential construction company located in Southwestern Fairfield County, CT seeks one highly motivated individual with at least 6 years of experience as a field supervisor in residential construction.

Job Description

Oversee daily construction activities on assigned project sites. Coordinate subcontractors and site teams to maintain project schedules. Review work completed in the field and address issues that affect progress. Track daily site activity and communicate updates to project stakeholders. Plan short-term construction activities to keep crews and materials aligned. Maintain an organized, safe job site throughout each phase of construction. Work with project teams to resolve field questions and support timely decisions. Monitor project milestones and identify schedule concerns early.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent - Construction - Fairfield should have:

• Be extremely customer-service-oriented and have a discerning eye for quality and craftsmanship
• Have a strong understanding of all aspects of residential construction, with a clear ability to read plans, effectively write and maintain project schedules, and meet deadlines
• Ability to manage more than one project at a time
• Ability to coordinate, manage, and direct many subcontractors at a time
• Computer knowledge with a general understanding of MS Word, emailing, etc.
• Extremely strong communication skills
• Time management skills
• Organizational skills

• Salary range of $90,000 to $110,000.
