Role Overview

We are seeking a Test Asset Management Lead to serve as a senior subject matter expert and enterprise integrator for the centralized management, sourcing, and accountability of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) and related test assets. In this new role, you will build the UAS asset management framework from the ground up. This position is central to supporting science and technology, experimentation, testing, training, operational assessment, and capability development activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage the UAS asset management framework, including inventory, allocation, forecasting, and utilization processes.
• Serve as the central point for consolidating and validating UAS requirements across organizational divisions, programs, and test activities.
• Advise leadership on UAS platform selection and availability, recommending allocation or procurement priorities when demand exceeds resources.
• Develop and maintain an enterprise-level view of UAS inventory, linking demand to available assets, procurement actions, and organizational priorities.

Support UAS testing, experimentation, and Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) activities by matching UAS capabilities to specific objectives.

• Coordinate with test teams, contracting professionals, and resource management to align UAS requirements with available funding.
• Conduct technical market research to assess commercially available UAS against organizational requirements and develop technical specifications for acquisition.
• Capture lessons learned from test events regarding UAS performance and incorporate findings into future sourcing and inventory decisions.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with UAS or Counter-UAS technologies.
• Experience in Test & Evaluation (T&E), requirements management, and RDT&E activities.
• Proven background in asset, inventory, or resource management.
• Deep understanding of experimentation, operational assessment, or threat-replication activities.
• Knowledge of federal acquisition and contracting processes sufficient to translate technical requirements into executable acquisition actions.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively with leadership and multiple stakeholders.
