Allied Technician - Physical Therapist

This position offers a daytime shift from 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM.

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will collaborate with physical therapists to provide high-quality patient care. The PTA will support treatment plans as directed, assist in the rehabilitation of patients, and promote recovery through therapeutic exercises and interventions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the administration of physical therapy treatment as directed by a licensed physical therapist.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes in patient status to the supervising therapist.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercises.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate clinical records.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
• Commitment to professional development and patient care.

Physical Requirements

The role may involve lifting, standing, and moving patients as part of the rehabilitation process. A willingness to engage in physical activities is essential.
