Key responsibilities of the Full Time CNA:
- Assist residents with daily living needs per care plan
- Maintain resident safety and environment
- Support residents with meals and feeding assistance
- Assist with mobility and rehabilitation needs
- Take and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
- Measure and record weight, intake, and output
- Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge of residents
- Address social and emotional needs of residents
- Maintain confidentiality and residents' rights
- Report resident concerns and changes to the nurse promptly
- Complete all documentation in a timely manner
Requirements of the Full Time CNA:
- NYS Nursing Assistant Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA or RQI
- Minimum 1-year experience as licensed CNA in a long-term care setting
