About the Clinician's Workday

The Emergency Medicine Physician Associate will provide locum tenens clinical coverage during day and night shifts at this on-site inpatient emergency department, evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients of all ages presenting with acute illnesses and injuries at a trauma level 4 facility. Clinicians will manage 80-95 patient encounters per day across 9-hour shifts and perform emergency procedures as clinically indicated throughout each assigned shift. No call responsibilities are associated with this position, and board certification and prescriptive authority are required for this assignment.
