Work Environment You will be working onsite at our rehabilitation facility in Huntington Beach, a city known for its beautiful beaches and vibrant coastal lifestyle. This full-time role requires your presence to collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including mental health counselors, psychiatrists, and support staff. The typical work schedule will be from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some opportunities for flexible scheduling based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities * Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical health status to identify their rehabilitation needs and create personalized treatment plans that foster optimal recovery. * Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to promote physical health and function through rehabilitation therapies, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and patient education. * Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, keeping open lines of communication regarding patient progress and necessary adjustments to treatment plans. * Maintain precise and confidential records for each patient, complying with all legal and ethical documentation standards. * Regularly participate in team meetings and case consultations to discuss patient progress, challenges, and successes, contributing your unique insights as a physical health therapist. * Provide education to patients and their families about physical rehabilitation, recovery expectations, and home exercise programs tailored to enhance patient outcomes. * Engage in continuous learning and professional development by staying informed of the latest advancements in physical health therapy and rehabilitation practices. Patient Population / Client Focus The patients you will work with comprise a diverse demographic affected by various physical health conditions, including post-operative recovery, chronic pain management, neurological disorders, and sports injuries. Your interventions will be crucial in helping these individuals regain mobility, reduce pain, and enhance their quality of life. Qualifications * A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field is mandatory. * Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California. * Strong understanding of rehabilitation principles, techniques, and evidence-based practices related to physical health therapy. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with patients and their families. * A commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and adhering to ethical standards in patient care. Preferred Experience * Prior experience in a rehabilitation facility or outpatient setting is highly preferred. * Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in using digital tools for patient management. * Experience with specific rehabilitation techniques or modalities that can enhance patient care outcomes. Compensation and Benefits The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
