Work Environment
Our rehabilitation center boasts a collaborative and supportive environment where your clinical skills will thrive. With a talented multidisciplinary team, you will work alongside mental health counselors, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that every patient receives comprehensive care. The center operates onsite, allowing for hands-on treatment and direct interaction with patients in a well-equipped setting designed for optimal healing. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough physical health assessments to determine patients' needs and establish personalized treatment plans for rehabilitation.
* Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques, to enhance patient mobility and functional abilities.
* Monitor patient progress through regular evaluations, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure effective rehabilitation.
* Educate patients about their physical conditions, rehabilitation exercises, and preventive measures to promote long-term health outcomes.
* Engage in case discussions and collaborative treatment planning with other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care across physical and mental health disciplines.
* Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of patient progress and treatment interventions in compliance with healthcare regulations.
* Participate in ongoing professional development activities, including attending workshops and contributing to team meetings to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Patient Population / Client Focus
You will primarily work with patients recovering from a variety of physical ailments, including post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and mobility impairments. Our patient population consists of individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those with co-occurring mental health issues that may impact their physical rehabilitation. Your role is essential in bridging the gap between physical and mental wellness, contributing to holistic recovery.
Qualifications
* A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
* Current and valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
* Comprehensive understanding of physical health disorders, therapeutic modalities, and rehabilitation techniques.
* Proven experience conducting assessments and developing effective rehabilitation strategies for various patient populations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with patients and build rapport.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and treatment planning.
* Ability to seamlessly integrate with a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Experience
* Prior experience in a rehabilitation or outpatient setting is highly desired.
* Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage patient documentation efficiently.
* Experience in implementing patient-centered therapeutic practices that promote engagement and empowerment.
Compensation and Benefits
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
