Key Responsibilities * Conduct thorough assessments of patients, taking into consideration their physical capabilities and mental health status, in order to create tailored rehabilitation programs. * Implement evidence-based physical therapy interventions, including but not limited to manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional training. * Work closely with other clinicians to develop cohesive treatment plans that encompass both physical and mental health goals. * Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment approaches as necessary based on quantifiable outcomes. * Document all patient interactions and treatment plans in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems. * Educate patients and their families about home exercises and strategies to improve mobility and reduce pain. * Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and peer reviews to ensure the delivery of the highest standard of care. * Stay current with best practices in physical therapy through continuous professional development and training opportunities. Patient Population / Client Focus Our primary client focus includes individuals recovering from traumatic injuries, surgeries, chronic pain conditions, and mental health disorders. As a Physical Health Therapist at Health Coast Behavioral Center, you will work with a diverse population, including those with dual diagnoses involving physical rehabilitation and mental health treatment. Qualifications * A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. * Current and valid physical therapy licensure in the state of California. * Strong background in physical rehabilitation techniques, patient assessment, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. * Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care. * Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems. Compensation and Benefits This position offers an attractive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
