Key Responsibilities * Conduct thorough evaluations of patients through assessments that identify their physical abilities, limitations, and treatment needs. * Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to individual patient goals and recovery timelines, utilizing evidence-based research and methodologies. * Administer therapeutic modalities such as manual therapy, exercise, and specialized equipment training to enhance patient rehabilitation and recovery. * Monitor and document patient progress accurately, adjusting treatment plans as necessary in response to changes in patients' conditions. * Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and social workers, to provide comprehensive patient care. * Provide education and training to patients and their families on exercises, home care practices, and injury prevention strategies. * Engage in community outreach programs to promote physical health awareness and preventative care. Patient Population / Client Focus Your role will focus on a wide range of patients, including those recovering from surgery, experiencing chronic pain, or rehabilitating from sports injuries. Qualifications * Active California state license for Physical Therapy. * Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field; a Master's or Doctoral degree is highly regarded. * Strong understanding of various rehabilitation techniques, patient assessment methods, and evidence-based practices in physical therapy. * Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary team. * Proven ability to handle diverse patient cases, manage time effectively, and deliver quality care in a fast-paced rehabilitation setting.
