Key Responsibilities * Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical health, mobility, and rehabilitation needs, utilizing advanced diagnostic techniques and tools. * Design and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic modalities, including strength training, manual therapy, and functional rehabilitation. * Monitor patient progress through regular evaluations and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery outcomes. * Educate patients and their families about physical health conditions, rehabilitation techniques, and self-management strategies to enhance recovery. * Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and mental health specialists, to provide integrated care and support for each patient's unique needs. * Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with organizational policies and regulations, ensuring all data is confidential and secure. * Participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress, share knowledge, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the organization. * Stay updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy and rehabilitation practices, incorporating evidence-based approaches into your work. Patient Population / Client Focus As a Licensed Physical Health Therapist at Health Coast Behavioral Center, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population ranging from adults to seniors experiencing a variety of physical health challenges. Patients may include individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, those with chronic pain, and individuals undergoing rehabilitation after injury. Your role will directly impact their recovery journey, offering support and guidance tailored to their specific functional and emotional needs. Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. * Current and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California. * Strong foundational knowledge of physical health disorders, rehabilitation principles, and treatment planning. * Excellent clinical assessment and intervention skills with a commitment to delivering effective patient-centered care. * Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team setting, as well as independently. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on empathy and patient engagement. * Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with modern therapeutic tools and methodologies. Preferred Experience * Experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting is preferred. * Familiarity with evidence-based practice models and integrated care approaches. * Previous experience working with diverse and underserved populations. * Continuing education or certifications in specialized areas of physical therapy. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
