Key Responsibilities As a Licensed Physical Health Therapist, you will be responsible for a variety of essential tasks, including but not limited to: * Conducting detailed physical assessments to evaluate patients' conditions and determining their physical therapy needs. * Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices tailored to each patient's unique requirements. * Utilizing therapeutic modalities, exercise programs, and patient education to enhance recovery and improve functional abilities. * Monitoring patients' progress throughout treatment and adjusting plans as necessary to optimize outcomes. * Providing education and support to patients regarding their conditions, treatment options, and home exercise regimens to encourage adherence and facilitate recovery. * Coordinating care with other health professionals, ensuring a holistic approach to each patient's treatment. * Keeping accurate, detailed documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards to track patient progress and facilitate communication within the team. * Participating in case consultations and team meetings to discuss treatment strategies and patient outcomes. Patient Population / Client Focus Patients at Health Coast Behavioral Center range from individuals with acute rehabilitation needs to those recovering from chronic conditions that necessitate personalized physical therapy interventions. You will work with a diverse population, including elderly patients, individuals with mobility impairments, and those recovering from surgery or injury, ensuring you tailor your treatments to meet the specific physical challenges they face. Qualifications To be considered for the Licensed Physical Health Therapist position, candidates must possess the following qualifications: * A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field from an accredited institution. * Current and valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in California. * Strong understanding of physical therapy practices, treatment modalities, and rehabilitative strategies. * Ability to perform comprehensive assessments and develop effective treatment plans. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to educate and motivate patients effectively. * Proficiency in using electronic health record systems for documentation and patient tracking. * Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of physical therapy. Compensation and Benefits The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 - 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
