Work Environment Located in the heart of Santa Rosa, our facility provides a dynamic and collaborative work environment. As a member of our onsite team, you will have the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility equipped with the latest technologies and therapeutic modalities. Our working hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities * Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical health needs, utilizing advanced evaluation tools to create tailored treatment plans that align with individual goals. * Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions using approaches such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education to enhance mobility and functionality. * Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care, particularly during interdisciplinary case reviews. * Lead and facilitate therapeutic exercises in group settings, promoting patient engagement and fostering a supportive community atmosphere. * Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, documenting results meticulously to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards. * Deliver education sessions to patients and their families regarding physical health, injury prevention, and effective rehabilitation strategies. * Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay updated on the latest therapeutic techniques and rehabilitation technologies. * Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation, tracking patient progress, and managing treatment outcomes efficiently. Patient Population / Client Focus This position primarily involves working with adults experiencing a variety of conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain management, neurological disorders, and musculoskeletal injuries. The therapist's empathy and active listening skills are essential in promoting healing and ensuring patients feel valued throughout their recovery process. Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. * Current and valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in California. * Strong understanding of musculoskeletal anatomy, biomechanics, and common therapeutic methodologies. * Proven experience in developing and modifying rehabilitation plans based on patient evaluations. * Exceptional communication skills that foster collaboration with patients and colleagues alike. * Alignment with professional ethics and commitment to advancing patient care. * Proficiency in navigating electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient tracking. Preferred Experience * Prior work experience in a rehabilitation or outpatient setting. * Experience with specialized populations, such as the elderly or individuals with neurological conditions. * Certification in additional therapeutic modalities, such as dry needling or aquatic therapy, is a plus. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
