Job Title: Operations Manager Night Shift

Salary: $70,000 $75,000 annually

Schedule: Night Shift

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee night shift operations at a large food distribution center in Bloomfield, CT. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient warehouse operations, maintaining productivity standards, and leading a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all night shift warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution of food products
• Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and warehouse staff to meet performance goals
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards, company policies, and OSHA regulations
• Monitor daily operations to ensure productivity, accuracy, and efficiency targets are met
• Coordinate with day shift leadership to ensure seamless operational transitions
• Analyze KPIs, identify areas for improvement, and implement process enhancements
• Maintain inventory accuracy and oversee proper handling of perishable goods
• Address operational challenges and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner

Requirements:

• Must have prior experience in a food distribution center (DC) environment
• Proven leadership experience in warehouse or distribution operations
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
• Ability to manage teams in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
• Flexibility to work night shift hours consistently
