Key Responsibilities * Conduct in-depth physical health assessments to determine the needs of patients, incorporating their medical history, mental health status, and therapeutic goals into a comprehensive treatment plan. * Implement evidence-based physical therapy interventions to improve mobility, strength, and functional independence in patients. * Utilize a range of therapeutic exercises and modalities to address physical impairments and promote recovery, ensuring a patient-centered approach to care. * Collaborate closely with mental health professionals to create a synergistic treatment plan that addresses both physical and mental health challenges. * Educate patients and their families about physical health, rehabilitation techniques, and self-care strategies to foster independence and successful recovery outcomes. * Document progress notes and treatment plans clearly and accurately, maintaining compliance with legal and ethical standards while using electronic health record (EHR) systems. * Actively participate in team meetings, case reviews, and professional development sessions to enhance your clinical skills and contribute to the advancement of the facility. Patient Population / Client Focus You will engage with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from injury, surgery, and various medical conditions. Many of our patients may also be managing co-occurring mental health issues, such as anxiety or depression, necessitating a comprehensive and empathy-driven approach to their care. Through teamwork and specialized therapy, you will make a significant positive impact on their overall health and quality of life. Qualifications * A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required. * Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California. * Strong understanding of physical therapy principles, therapeutic modalities, and rehabilitation techniques. * Experience conducting assessments and developing effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for helping patients improve their health and well-being. * Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and collaborate closely with mental health professionals. Compensation and Benefits This full-time role offers a competitive salary range between USD 115,000 and 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
