Required Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree required. Proven production leadership experience in manufacturing environments. Experience managing supervisors and frontline production teams. Strong background in safety, quality, GMP, and continuous improvement. Hands-on leadership style with excellent people management skills. Experience with root cause analysis, problem solving, and process optimization. SAP experience for batch management and production order processing.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience Coatings, paint, chemicals, food & beverage, or similar batch manufacturing environments. Non-solvent paint/coatings experience is highly desirable.

Job Description The Production Manager leads daily operations across mixing, laboratory testing, filling, packaging, and shipping while ensuring production goals are achieved safely and efficiently. This individual serves as a hands-on servant leader who supports, coaches, and develops employees, building strong relationships with supervisors, engineers, operators, and shift leaders. They are responsible for driving a culture of safety, quality, GMP compliance, and continuous improvement throughout a 24/7 manufacturing environment. The role includes troubleshooting operational issues, conducting root cause analysis, implementing cost-saving initiatives, optimizing processes, and supporting hiring and succession planning efforts. The Production Manager maintains visibility across multiple shifts, including occasional weekend support, while ensuring both people and processes perform at a high level.
