We are seeking a qualified Charge Nurse to join our team at a Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in nursing with specialized experience in trauma care and a strong foundation in leadership skills.
Schedule
- Day Shift: 5 days a week, 0500 to 1700
- Rotating schedule and start times
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee nursing staff and operations within the unit
- Ensure high-quality patient care and compliance with protocols
- Facilitate communication among healthcare team members
- Act as a resource for staff and assist with problem-solving
- Participate in staff development and training activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent combination of education and related experience: Required
- Master's Degree: Preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of charge or leadership experience: Required
- 5 years of technical experience: Preferred
- Experience with Trauma care: Preferred
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
- AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS certification: Required
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications: Required
- EPIC experience: Required
- Clinical specialty and/or nursing administration certification: Preferred
