Surgical Services Sterile Processing Tech

Night shift, 5 days a week from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. Floating to other facilities may be required.

Experience in decontamination of surgical instruments and equipment. Knowledge in the assembly of surgical instruments in various service lines. Understanding of sterilization processes, including steam and hydrogen peroxide (StERRAD) sterilization. Experience with high-level disinfection and scope processing. Familiarity with sterile storage practices. Experience as an OR liaison. Proficiency with tracking systems for sterile processing. Certification such as CBSPD or CRCST is required.

Perform decontamination and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment. Assemble and package instruments for various surgical services. Ensure compliance with sterilization protocols. Manage sterile storage areas to maintain organization and accessibility. Coordinate with surgical staff for instrument availability and requirements. Utilize tracking systems to manage inventory and instrument usage.
