Therapist – Physical Therapy Assistant

Job Summary:
Providing essential physical therapy support to patients in a skilled nursing and assisted living facility, ensuring optimal recovery and mobility outcomes. The role involves working collaboratively within a seasoned therapy team to deliver quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

• Prepare treatment areas and ensure equipment is sanitized and ready for therapy sessions.

• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting any changes to supervising therapists.

• Adhere to facility policies, including dress code and productivity standards, to maintain compliance.

• Maintain a professional and compassionate environment, supporting patient motivation and engagement.

Qualifications:

• Valid licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) credential.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred.

• Ability to follow treatment plans and adhere to clinical protocols.

• Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation.

• Flexibility to work full time, with 35 guaranteed hours per week.
