Therapist – Physical Therapy Assistant

Job Summary:


The Physical Therapy Assistant supports the rehabilitation team by providing therapeutic care to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting. They assist in implementing treatment plans and ensuring patient progress.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assist licensed therapists in delivering individual and group therapy sessions.
  
• 
  Monitor and document patient responses and progress during treatments.
  
• 
  Support patients with exercises and therapeutic activities to improve mobility and function.
  
• 
  Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment adhering to infection control protocols.
  
• 
  Communicate effectively with team members regarding patient needs and treatment updates.
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid license or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
  
• 
  Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred.
  
• 
  Strong knowledge of therapeutic interventions and rehabilitation techniques.
  
• 
  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
