Job Summary:
Performs non-invasive, routine clinical support services under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider. Responsible for assisting with patient examinations, obtaining vital signs, and performing diagnostic tests to support patient care.
Responsibilities:
Prepare exam rooms and check in patients efficiently.
Maintain an accurate patient recall system and continuity of care logs.
Obtain and record vital signs and patient histories.
Perform venipunctures and administer diagnostic tests such as audiometry and vision testing.
Report significant findings and patient observations to the supervising physician.
Perform additional clerical and clinical duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification preferred.
Current BLS certification from an approved provider required.
At least two years of recent healthcare experience preferred.
EPIC electronic health record system experience required.
Successful completion of audiometry and vision testing training within six months of hire preferred.
