Therapist Physical Therapy Assistant

Job Summary:


Provide physical therapy support to patients in a skilled nursing facility, assisting with rehabilitation and recovery efforts under the supervision of licensed therapists. Ensure the delivery of compassionate, patient-centered care to promote functional improvement and mobility.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans.
  
• 
  Monitor patient responses to therapy and document progress accurately.
  
• 
  Prepare treatment areas and ensure proper use of therapy equipment.
  
• 
  Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and care plans.
  
• 
  Maintain cleanliness and safety of therapy equipment and environment.
  
• 
  Comply with all regulatory standards and facility policies.
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license or certification.
  
• 
  Proven experience working in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting.
  
• 
  Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques and patient care procedures.
  
• 
  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• 
  Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
  
• 
  CPR certification preferred.
