Job Summary:


The Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) will support the delivery of rehabilitation services in a skilled nursing facility, ensuring patients receive high-quality therapeutic care to promote functional recovery and independence.



Responsibilities:




  • Assist licensed therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.

  • Prepare treatment areas and ensure therapeutic equipment is properly sanitized and ready for use.

  • Monitor and document patient progress, reporting any changes to supervising therapists.

  • Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and activities to support ongoing recovery.

  • Adhere to facility policies, safety protocols, and the established CRG P & P guidelines.

  • Maintain a professional appearance in black scrubs and ensure presence in the building during scheduled hours.








Qualifications:




  • Current OTA license or certification in the state of New Mexico.

  • Proven experience working in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting.

  • Strong understanding of therapy protocols and device operation.

  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and patients.

  • Ability to maintain a productivity rate of 92% as required.

  • Flexibility to follow facility policies, including dress code and schedules.
