Therapist – Occupational Therapy Assistant

Job Summary:


Seeking a qualified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide essential therapy services over a 13-week assignment, ensuring patient care and treatment goals are met. This role requires dedication to supporting rehabilitation efforts in a skilled nursing environment.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer therapeutic interventions under the supervision of an occupational therapist.
  
• 
  Document patient progress accurately and in compliance with facility policies.
  
• 
  Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement treatment plans.
  
• 
  Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities to promote functional independence.
  
• 
  Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment.
  
• 
  Follow all regulatory and safety protocols related to patient care.
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
  
• 
  Valid state license or registration as required.
  
• 
  Proven experience working in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting.

  Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
